About Us

We have spent many years helping refugee and immigrant people in Salt Lake City to resettle and become self-sufficient. We are full-time volunteers, but we need more volunteers and donations so that when our refugees ask for help, we do not have to say no.

Our refugees have come here from horrific backgrounds. They have little or no friends, little or no English, no knowledge of where stores are located, or how to pay bills, how to apply for jobs, or how to pass the learners driver license test. But they have us.

And we have them. We share their rich culture, their character, honesty. We share their smiles, their interesting food, their simple slowed-down life-style; their good examples to us and our children.

And most of all, we share our love for each other.

And we learn that, no, we are not the center of the universe. There are other people out there. God is giving us a chance to be blessed more by us blessing them.

Our refugees and immigrants are struggling to get ready to drive. They need tutors and mentors to help them pass the written test for their driver's license test. Until then they need to be driven to the store and to other appointments that are too hard to travel to by bus. If you would like to be on call to help drive someone, please contact us.

We are a 501(c)(3) public charity. Because of that your donations are tax-deductible.
